M20 Trifid Nebula in HaLRGB

Hello all,

I've imaged the M20 Trifid Nebula with the new 16803 camera of the iDK Hakos. This time I've blended a 2hour Ha channel, taken with another telescope earlier this year, into the image and it looks pretty good.

Very very nice! Damn it's good to see some nice images again after all my travels and work 😀

By the way, as I will mention in another post, we were able to sort out the interference issue with the new camera. Simply use the 1 MHz readout mode if you want to avoid those. With this setting, the image download from the camera takes a little longer, but we end up with less noise and (surprisingly, and luckily) no interference on the bias or darks that I can detect.

Fernando, just remember that if you have any existing requests you need to manually set the readout mode to 1 MHz. The older requests were all made with 8 MHz...
