Please note that all calibration data from before 6th may 2021 should only be used for images taken before this date.
For all new images, please use the new set of calibration data (being collected right now).

Also, the Ha filter has been exchanged for a new one with 3,5nm pass instead of 7nm before.

yes, I guess so. Just make sure to not mix the calibration data between the two: As the camera is different, you will need to use the new set of calibration data together with the 3.5nm frames.

Personally, I would rather combine the 7nm into a master, and the 3.5nm frames into a second master and see how it looks. The 3.5nm ones should reveal more details, at least in theory...

Btw, it's windy as hell today. 45km/h blowing from all over the place. The Veloce looks pretty happy despite the wind, while the iDK suffers from the pushing and pulling around 😅

From what I can tell right now, much will come from the new camera as it is definitively less noisy. The filter might improve it even more, but let's see.

Interesting is the fact that the new O3 filter on the Veloce gives very smooth images - I guess swapping the filters there might give a noticeable improvement to the data too

Notice:
There seems to be a suspect horizontal banding issue on the new camera. It is not very prominent, so it might not be an issue for everybody, but we are still investigating this with FLI and Baader. Note those three images taken last night:

Those are uncalibrated images. The lighter corner in the top left and the remaining hot pixels calibrate out nicely, but those bands... I guess with some integrated frames it would even out, but still...
