@schoksi the RC360 had an issue with the focuser (The PrimaLuceLab one suddenly needed a calibration, which is not that easy to do remotely). Seems to be back working.
The iDK20 on the other hand is "down" as it is being replaced by the new TI450 f4.0. Progress is slow, regrettably, as I am not able to be on site currently. The 20" AG Optical scope has been removed, and the mount put back in Alt-Az operations.
There are still a few things to be done to get it back working, in no particular order:
- Check the dome power connections, as we happen to get a short circuit from it. Possibly a gecko somewhere between wires.
- Put up te scope on the mount (duh!) with the new camera and all. Shall be easy, but still a 4 man job
- Cable everything
- Put the new computer in place
I hope that we can test it before Christmas. This scope has been extensively tested in Italy so I am pretty positive that we can get it up and running in a short time, once all is mounted 🙂
It is indeed a period with several scopes having issues at the same time. Broken computer at the H10 in Spain (roofs didnt close, rain came in, we have been lucky that it seems that's all...), CDK500 in Spain has a broken dome controller...
Best regards
Lukas
