As you might have noticed, the last days and nights were quite bad in Namibia. There were clouds 😅
Usually, in the southern winter (about april until september) there are very few cloudy nights. You can usually count them on one hand. The period from october until december is also mostly good, but the more we get into (southern) summer, the more it tends to have some thunderstorms.
Astronomy-wise it means that we can still observe nearly all year long. Between april and september it's just odd if there is one night with closed roofs 🤣
