Calibration file FSQ106 Namibia

Hi, is it possible to add dark frames calibration files for the FSQ106 with 180 sec exposure/bin 1 ?

The observation planning screen advises users of the FSQ106 Namibia telescope to avoid using 1x1 binning because it has a new camera, yet there aren't any new 2x2 darks (at least for 300s) or flats (at least for Ha) on the calibration site. There are new 2x2 bias files though. Can these new calibration frames be taken soon? Also, there are a plethora of old calibration frames on the website that presumably are no longer useful, and it makes it difficult to find new entries at times. Can those be cleaned up?

WIll check those. It is a difficult balance between keeping things easy and offering plenty of data for those users who ask for that 🙂 Let's start with some fresh calibration data 🙂

Thanks for taking the new 300s bin2 darks. Will the new bin2 flats be coming soon? Right now my queue only has Ha and Lum requests in it, but I'll add more bin2 broadband and narrowband plans in the near future through all of the filters (LRGB, HA, OIII and SII).

I just did a series of subs (my first run) and the sub files are 29,878 in size, and all the calibration files are 30,594. That won’t work when trying to stack the images. I will need flats RGB, bias and 300 sec darks that are also 29,878. Am I looking in the wrong place. As it seems they should be readily available?

@ablanchard I checked, is this on the FSQ106 ?
Looking at the FTP all frames of yours are of the same size (30.594.240):

So, may I ask how you downloaded your frames? I always strongly suggest using an FTP client. Some users tend to use the Browser, with a HTTP connection, but this will with modern browsers corrupt the file 🙂

It may be my download program, I’ll try with a FTP client and see what happens?
