lukas_demetz Hi everybody, I am back with an update on what is coming up in the coming weeks. Alot of work has been put into fixing smaller and bigger glitches on the software side, so finally we are back on doing some hardware work. Right now we have planned: iDK20 in Namibia: Cleaning of optics, and finetuning of collimation H8 in Namibia: Has suffered a roof collision and needs collimating. Planned for 10th october 2023 RC360 in Namibia: Focuser has been upgraded, and shall get back online shortly CDK500 in Spain: Ha filter will be swapped with a Chroma one. Otherwise working very well. Dome walls will be shortened to bring the observable horizon down to about 20 degrees. H10 in Spain: Some balancing and collimation issues still persist, shoul d be addressed in the coming days. Dreamscope in Utah: Has been used so little that we decided to part ways with it, it will be offline from october onwards. Best regards Lukas
lukas_demetz CDK500 has now the fixed dome. We are able to get down easily to 20° of altitude, and with some coverage even to 12 🙂 Others are coming up again quickly
