Sina Took this with the Hakos H8 2.8. The large FOV of the scope also allowed the capture of "Gem" open cluster NGC 3293. LRGB 10x 180s bin2 each HaO3 10x 240s bin2 each Total integration 3 h 20 min Stacked and aligned images with ASTAP and processed using StarTools.
lukas_demetz Hi SIna, well, it is accepted that I really am biased nowadays towards the huge field of view of those scopes 🙂 Personally, I find it a little too saturated, at least on my screen the colors are really strong. 🙂
Sina I agree--the image is significantly more saturated after upload. I had to compress the original, so I thought it had to do something during conversion to jpg, but I then I noted that after upload the saturation increases compared to the original?! Here is a more "desaturated" version that looks closer to what I have on my monitor... :
