The first sub of a recent imaging request sequence was taken when the object altitude was just under 30 degrees (29.5), with a resulting airmass of 1.98. The object in question (Grus triplet) has a peak altitude of 71 degrees from Hakos, so subs shot at near 30 degrees altitude are far from optimal. When creating the request I did not see a way to specify a minimum altitude constraint, but I think that should be an optional parameter of the request. Perhaps as a percentage of the peak altitude? I realize the scope scheduling logic is likely quite complex, and adding an additional constraint will only make it more so, but I believe this would be a useful feature. Thanks.
